Siting and Transporting

BCP Caravans offer a siting service for caravans, single and double lodges. This service involves moving the caravan or lodge from where it has been delivered, to where it is to be positioned for its connections. Once the caravan or lodge is in the specified location (so, at Bentley Park, this will be the concrete base that runs square along all sides), we will then jack the caravan up to get the wheels off the ground, and the caravan or lodge will be placed on around 12-18 axle stands, depending on the size of the caravan. 

 

Once we are happy it is level, we then proceed to anchor it down with chains in the 4 corners. Our gas engineer connects all of the waste and water pipes, as well as the gas, performing a gas safety check as standard.  Our electrician will then connect the electric and also performs a safety check. Once we are satisfied with all of these procedures, we will carry out the final checks to make sure we are happy with all the work completed before we hand over to the owner.

Transport 

We can transport any sized caravan or cabin, to any location in the UK. We provide our own escort from the point of pick up, all the way to delivery. As the price for this service will vary depending on the location, we quote every job individually rather than having a set price structure. Abnormal Load Escort 

Our escort vehicle can escort any abnormal load. We can either meet the load at the point of entry on the highway and escort the full length of its journey, or we can meet you at the point where you exit the dual carriage way or motorway and then escort you to the destination. This service is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Please contact us if you would like a quote for this service.
